We need a strong developer with SAP BO 4 experience from PHARMA industry and also experience working with medical data.

Our client uses Medidata RAVE Classic as sole data management system for clinical data. Different reports should be developed for different user roles of the client’s RAVE (KPI reports, oversight, issue- and status tracking reports).

Several reports need to be developed and optimized during this project, for some of them the User Requirement do already exist, but not for all of them.

The Business Objects 4 Developer is expected to consult the Central Data Science Solutions (CDSS) team in the translation of these user requirements into functional specifications.

This consultation is taking place in an agile project management approach (Scrum).
Qualifications - Experience required
- 7+ years of experience in working with BO4 reports

- Profound Experience in working with Medidata Rave and BO4

- Good communication skills

- Fluent in English and German

- Experience in the process of clinical research

- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry

Scope of services
Development of reports with SAP Business Objects 4.2 Web Intelligence , which is integrated into Medidata RAVE Classic (BO4 reports), as agreed in the weekly Sprint Meeting, consisting of two parts:
Weekly Sprint Review, 15min, with all stakeholders: During the sprint review, the developer presents the stakeholders the progress and impediment of the last sprint. After that, the developer works iteratively on the agreed tasks.
Weekly Sprint Planning, 45min, with all stakeholders: During the sprint planning, the product owner and the developer define the tasks for the next sprint, based on resources, priorities, work effort and user feedback. After that, the developer works iteratively on the agreed tasks.
If required, the team can agree on additional stand-alone meetings to clarify complex user requirements or problems. After that, the developer works iteratively on the agreed tasks.
Optimization of existing BO4 reports, following the same approach as described above.
Finalization of the functional specifications for the developed report and communication thereof to other BI partners (Validation Team and Training Team) to facilitate downstream tasks.
Conceptual and technical consultation to the development and optimization of a reporting strategy for Clinical Data (out of Medidata RAVE Classic)
The expertise tasks required have the goal of developing BO4 reports that can be validated and utilized by other users of Medidata RAVE Classic within the client.

It is desirable that the developer is familiar and experienced in working in a GCP compliant environment within clinical drug development.

Possible timelines to be kept:
Timelines are agreed upon in the project meetings for each report and task.
Adherence to these timelines is expected.
Due to the possibility of shifting business priorities, these timelines can change, and individual tasks can also be switched in priority.
Therefore, working in this project demands a high degree of flexibility.
