SQL Server DBA Remote and Brussels, Belgium English speaking



One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a SQL Server DBA.

For this role you can initially work remotely but once COVID restrictions are lifted you will have to be based full time onsite in Brussels.

Please find some details below:

Database Optimization & Tuning

As a DBA you will :
Have a thorough understanding of query plans and indexing and understand how to tune indexes to optimize database performance;
Analyze technical issues, provide feedback to both internal organization and suppliers and think about long term solutions that will prevent the problem in the future;
Create and maintain SQL server maintenance jobs (backup and recovery, develop and maintain business continuity, manage index fragmentation and keep statistics ...
